Silverline
A free 24-hour confidential telephone helpline offering information, friendship and advice to people over 55. We need connection whatever our age – especially if we live alone or further away from family. The Silver Line Helpline gives older people the opportunity to exchange a friendly word, access support, or enjoy a long enriching conversation.
WIRED Wirral Information Resource for Equality & Diversity
WIRED carers group. The Wirral Carers Health and Wellbeing Service provides free support to adult Carers (including Parent Carers and Young Adult Carers in transition), the service focuses on identifying Carers and supporting them to access services to assist them in their caring roll and to help them to maintain and improve their health and wellbeing. The overall aim of the Carers Health and Wellbeing Service is to improve the quality of life for Carers in Wirral, supporting them to sustain their caring role and enhancing their ability to enjoy a life outside of their caring role.
The Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Programme (DEEP)
The Dementia Engagement and Empowerment Programme (DEEP) is a growing user movement across the UK. It connects involvement/influencing groups of people with dementia – groups where people with dementia are working together to raise awareness about dementia – to policy-makers and decision makers, to influence local dementia practice and strategy, and to challenge the existing narrative about what it is like to live with dementia.
Healthwatch Wirral
Healthwatch Wirral works to help local people get the best out of their local health and social care services. Whether it’s improving them today or helping to shape them for tomorrow. Local Healthwatch is all about local voices being able to influence the delivery and design of local services.
Citizens Advice Wirral
Citizens Advice Wirral provide information, advice and social prescribing services to Wirral residents. Our services are currently being delivered by phone, video and email.
Wirral Emergency GP
Wirral GP Out of Hours service is accessed through the NHS 111 service and provides urgent medical help and advice for patients who are unable to wait for their GP practice to re-open. If you urgently need medical help or advice outside of your normal GP opening hours, then you should use the NHS 111 service

Please call 0800 145 6485 and our dedicated local staff will support you to access the help you need. The phone line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and is open to people of all ages.
