About Us
Dementia Together Wirral provides a social community for anyone affected by memory issues or dementia, with or without a diagnosis.
We host interesting and varied activities and events across the Wirral, where anyone living with dementia, and their cares or ex-carers, can get together with committed volunteers. Many of our volunteers have personal experience of dementia and can provide a supportive community, with the aim of relieving social isolation experienced by many of those affected by dementia.
Why not come along and join in the fun?
Our Events
We host a full calendar of events, which are published monthly. A sample of some of our events are provided below, or you can head over to our social media pages for more details.
Memory Cafés
Dementia Together Wirral (DTW) hosts 10 different Memory Cafes each month across the Wirral. See our calendar of events for more details of when and where they are taking place.
Our memory cafes are social get-togethers where our Friends can share stories and advice. Our dedicated volunteers will be on hand, and you can be assured of a warm welcome. Come and share our range of resources including old photos and memory boxes over a companionable coffee and cake.
No need to book, just turn up.
